Design consultation
Our bespoke service begins with us visiting your home for a design consultation. After discussing your ideas and surveying the area to be tiled we will return to the studio where our team will design your floor and then provide you with a detailed quotation. Where required a plan or an example of the design will be provided to show how the finished floor will look in your home. Once you are happy with the design a deposit will be taken, the tiles will be ordered and a date set for the installation.
Installation Process
Firstly any old floor coverings will be removed and then the area will be prepared ensuring that it is suitable to take the new floor tiles. The correct preparation of the floor is vital, this could be as simple as adding a thin layer of smoothing and levelling compound or in some cases the entire concrete base will need to be replaced, either way we will do whatever is needed to guarantee that your new floor stays looking as beautiful as the day it is laid. Using a straight edge and laser we will take the time to ensure that the layout is just right before the first tile is even fixed. The tiles will then be installed to your chosen design specification before grout and sealer are applied. Doors will be trimmed where required and doorway thresholds installed.
