Victorian Floors - Edwardian Floors - Period Floors
Together we have more than 25 years experience of creating beautiful Victorian and Edwardian floors. We provide both interior tiling in hallways, bathrooms and conservatories as well as exterior tiling to driveways and footpaths to customers throughout Derby, Nottingham, West Bridgford, Leicester, Burton, Long Eaton, Beeston, throughout the Midlands and the rest of the UK.
Despite King Edward VII only sitting on the throne for nine years, the hugely popular style of period flooring named after him has gone on to influence interior decorating for many decades, and still remains a firm favourite with our customers today.
How Does Edwardian Flooring Differ From Victorian Flooring?
Whereas Victorian tiles tended to be darker, heavier and more cluttered, Edwardian tiles offer a greater level of colour, providing a much more cheerful and lighter floor. This leads to a more informal feel, which ensures that the flooring goes perfectly alongside light furniture, as well as floral patterns and pastel colours.
Please contact us today with your Edwardian flooring requirements and we will be happy to help and provide a quote for the tiling work in a timely fashion.
